hussain the voice of humanity

hussain the voice of humanity

An arrow through the eyes. Three spears in the center of an infant’s chest. Women in chains. A final, lone solider beheaded for his stand against injustice.
This is the story of Karbala, the story you were never taught, the story your children will never learn.
History books will never teach you of a man named Hussain or a land named Karbala. You have never learned of the day 72 stood against an army of 30,000 and won. No one has ever told you the story that the great British historian Edward Gibbons said will “awaken the sympathy of the coldest reader.”
Hussain gave everything he had, including his life, to save humanity.
Hussain's epic legacy lives on until today and inspires millions of people around the world.

who is imam hussain ? ( part 14 )

Imam Hussain (PBUH) lost his sons, his brother’s sons, his companions in this battle which was forced to him and his family and finally the enemy killed him by many arrows and sword, at last they cut his head and crossed on his holy body by horses. At the Battle of Karbala it is recorded that seventy two people from the Imam Hussain’s men were killed, the whole companions of Imam Hussain (PBUH).

When Imam Hussain (PBUH) clashed with Yazid’s army, he said:

“… Don’t you see that the truth is not put into action and the false is not prohibited? The believer should desire to meet his Lord while he is right. Thus I do not see death but as happiness, and living with tyrants but as sorrow.”

Waiting for Imam Mahdi

who is imam hussain ? ( part 13 )

The battle of the Karbala land, started by Ibn Zyad’s army in the order of Yazid. It is written in the history the number of the enemy’s army was more than 20,000 people …. 20,000 against 72….

One of those 72 people was Horr (the commander of Ibn Zyad’s army). He was ordered to stop Imam Hussain (PBUH) and then take him to Yazid but before the battle he found out they were sent there to kill Imam and his family. When the new army of Ibn Zyad joined them and the commander said they are all ordered to kill Imam Hussain (PBUH), Horr doubted. He thought how could he kill the grandson of the prophet, the son of Lady Fatima and Imam Ali (PBUT), how could he kill an Imam who is determined by God?

Finally the light of truth glowed in his heart and he regretted so much. In the morning of the battle, without telling anyone, he ran to the Imam’s camp. He fell to the ground in front of Imam, cried and asked Imam Hussain (PBUH) to forgive him. Imam Hussain forgave him and asked God to forgive him too.

When the enemy attacked, Horr asked Imam Hussain (PBUH) to let him go for the fight as the first one. He got permission and he went to the battle, finally he martyred in the path of truth.

Abbas was also famous for his politeness and courtesy, he always have been respecting Imam Hussain (PBUH) not just for being his brother, but for being his Imam (successor of the prophet) and have been calling him my lord; When Abbas (PBUH) fell down from his horse while his head was bloody and his hands were cut off, called Imam Hussain (PBUH): “O! My brother” He called Imam Hussain (PBUH), “my brother” for the first and last time. Imam Hussain (PBUH) came to him and held his head but Abbas (PBUH) put his head on the ground and said: “No, don’t hold me because when they kill you, I am not there to hold you”

Who is imam hussain ? ( part 11 )
while the water storage in Imam’s camp was finished, Imam Hussain (PBUH) requested Ibn Ziyad’s army to allow him and his family members’ access to water, but his request was denied. Children were crying because of thirst, there was no choice, so Imam Hussain (PBUH) sent his brother Abbas Ibn Ali (PBUH) to the river bank to bring water. Abbas (PBUH) was half-brother of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and he was famous for his courage and bravery, but when hundreds of men attack to one, even Abbas can’t resist. When he arrived to the river, although he was so thirsty but he didn’t drink water before children and Imam Hussain (PBUH), so he filled the waterskin and headed to the camp but the army of Ibn Zyad attacked him. He fought them to be able bring water for children in camp but the attackers became more and more. Finally they cut off both his arms, hit his head and killed him.

Waiting for Imam Mahdi

quote by charles dickens about "imam Hussain"

If Hussain had fought to quench his worldly desires… then I do not understand why his sister, wife, and children accompanied him. It stands to reason therefore, that he sacrificed purely for Islam.charles dickens
