Providing the food for Imam Mahdi’s army
Imam Sadiq (PBUH) quotes from Imam Baqir (PBUH):
“When Mahdi comes and rises, he starts from Mecca, then moves to Kufa. Before setting out with his army and companions, his harbinger calls every one that: no one is allowed to carry food and water.”
Then Imam commands them to pick the stone belonging to Prophet Moses which equals the load on a camel and carry it along with the forces. To every house they get, the water flows from the stone and every hungry man gets saturated when he drinks it and every thirsty man gets satiated when he drinks it, and he will need no food nor water. This food is for all members of the Imam Mahdi’s army until they enter Najaf and Kufa.
