Arbaeen in Africa
Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous island as a part of Tanzania.
This place is a spectacular destination for many tourists in the world
Presence of Shiite dates back to the 9th century in this eastern African country.
The old epitaphs which refer to the Prophet of Islam family in Zanzibar are the evidence of Shiism presence.
One of the most important rituals in this country is the "Arbaeen", which is known as the “Chehelum”.
It should be mentioned that it is one of the best- organized events among the other Shiite African countries and will be held in three days.
As part of this indigenous ritual, the mourners will be treated by a wide range of foods and juices followed by #photo exhibition.

زَنگبار جزیره‌ای نیمه خودمختار در کشور آفریقاییِ تانزانیا است
این منطقه به جهت زیبایی مبهوت کننده، مقصد بسیاری از توریست‌ها در جهان می‌باشد.
اما نکته‌ی قابل توجه در مورد این کشور شرقِ آفریقایی این است که، تشیع در این منطقه به قرن چهارم قمری برمیگردد.
به عبارتی از مناطق اولیه شیعه در جغرافیای جهانی محاسبه می‌شود.
سنگ نبشته‌های قدیمی مربوط به خاندان پیامبر در جای جای زنگبار حاکی از این قدمت دارد.
یکی از مهمترین مراسمات این کشور، آیین " اربعین " است، که به " چهلم " مشهور است.
باید اشاره کرد که از منسجم ترین مراسمات شیعیان اثنی عشریه در قاره‌ی آفریقا می باشد و در طی سه روز برگزار می‌گردد.
از رسوم جاری این آیینِ بومی می‌توان به پذیرایی با شربت، اطعام وسیع و برگزاری نمایشگاه عکس اشاره کرد.
همچنین عطرآگین کردن بیرق‌ها، کفن و واسپاری عَلم و خروج اسب خونین از زیبایی‌های "اربعین " در زنگبار می باشد
