The translation of verse 249 of Surah Al-Baqarah:

“And when Saul marched out with his army, he said: 'Allah will test you with a river.”

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) on interpreting this verse has said: “God tested the Companions of Moses by a stream and the Companions of Our Qa’im will be tested alike.”

You have forgot the story of the man from Khorasan and Imam Sadiq (PBUH)?

The man from Khorasan objected Imam Sadiq: “Why don’t you defend your right while you have more than one hundred Shias ready for a battle?” The Imam answered: “Go and sit in the fireplace”. The man implored: “Don’t burn me with fire. Forgive my fault.” Right at that time, Aaron the Meccan entered the room. Imam asked him “Go and sit in the fireplace”, he entered it and sat there. Then the Imam told the man: “Go and see what’s happening inside”. The man says they went and checked the fireplace, “He was sitting in the fireplace and said hello to us.”

The Imam said: “How many people like these can be found in Khorasan?”

The man from Khorasan: “I swear to God there exists no one.”

The Imam said: “We won’t up rise unless we have five companions like him.”

(The difference between action and saying is very much)

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) has said:

“Get to know the Imam of your era, if you know him, whether the Reappearance occurs quickly or late, you won’t incur any losses.”

Al-Qaibat  Na´mani, Chapter 25.

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) said:

“If you experience the Occultation, persist on reciting this prayer:   O! God, introduce your Imam to me, otherwise I will go astray from my religion.”

A reminder: we should not forget that Shimr also saw the Imam of his era but did not recognize him.

Greater than Imagination...

I cannot refer to him as the leader, he is greater than this. I cannot say the he is the first person, because there is not any second person (throughout the ranks)! We cannot describe him with any description other than “The Promised Mahdi”. He is the one that God has saved for the mankind.

Isaiah lived 700 years before Christ's coming and used to deal with the issue of the emergence of a “Savior” more than other prophets. In his words, the best instance to save the Israelites was a person named "Immanuel". (Immanuel, literally, means God is with us)

Prior to Isaiah the concept of Messiah and the Savior did not have a universal perspective. But after him "the Concept of Messiah" remained active and Messiah has acquired a global function.

The prophets after him also promised a better future and the advent of a Messiah and an immortal religious government until the light of prophethood reached Daniel (PBUH)...

Being pious

Avoiding from guilt, having virtue and avoiding from doubts and disapproved deeds is called being pious. To save us, we should pay attention to avoid the disapproved deeds and to do the recommended things. Recommended things strengthens doing obligatory rules, and avoiding disapproved deeds can help to avoid guilt and taboos.

Imam sadiq said: Everyone who wants to be Imam Mahdi’s companion should avoid from doubts plus abandoning committing sins. In fact, they should avoid doing anything which contains uncertainty (in being a good deed or a wrong one) both based on etiquette and wisdom.”

Avoiding doubts can make people and their Imam look like each other.

Imam Baqir said: “By Allah! As if I am looking at (imagining) him [Qa’im] that he is leaning against Hajar al Asvad (the Black Stone), and then swears to God for the sake of Allah’s dignity and then says: 'O people! anyone who wants to have and argument about God with me, I am the most deserving for it, and anyone who want to argue about Adam with me, I deserve it most, anyone who wants to argue about Noah with me, I deserve it most , anyone who wishes to argue with me about Abraham, I deserve it most.

God has given outstanding features (features of all prophets from first to last) to Imam Mahdi (PBUH) that has not given to any of the other Imams.

Imam Mahdi (PBUH) has inherited long life and patience from Noah, iconoclasm from Abraham, rebellion against the tyrant from Moses, judgment from Solomon, beauty and governance form Joseph, bright miracles from Jesus and uprising and universal revolution from Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). All the angels and even the angels of Badr and Uhud (Two Islamic Battles) and, in addition, 313 of special elites from all over the Islamic cities will be at his service. These are great transformations which require preparations. All these preparations must be made by Muslims and Shiites and most importantly people should be ready to accept his orders.
