Yesterday’s Karbala, Today’s Karbala
1- The tragedy of Karbala which took place 1300 years ago signifies an uprising for demanding the humankind’s violated right; the right which was truth; a truth in the name of humanity, life, dignity, enthusiasm, and honor.
And today, the tragedy of Karbala is still alive, as there are still the oppressive; as there are still the oppressed; and there is still some Euphrates to block; and there is still some throat which is thirst for truth; the echo of His voice telling: “Is there any helper…?” is still resonating; and there is still some ear which hears His voice: “Is there any helper…?”; and the battle will be continued.
Yazidis still exist and Alawis too; O brother [Look!], where have you stood?
